Entertainment Schedule

The Polo Lounge is open from 5:00pm to closing Wednesday to Saturday. Live, musical entertainment is provided five nights a week.
Tommy Mitchell performs Wednesday and Thursday Evenings

Singer and piano player Tommy Mitchell may be best known for his distinguished credit as lead singer of the legendary rock group Blood Sweat and Tears. His style ranges from 70s rock to show tunes, from soulful to spitfire, as he belts hits from Frank Sinatra to Journey with a little Cats and Phantom of the Opera thrown in as well. Now a resident of Jupiter, Tommy Mitchell was a successful jingle writer and arranger whose voice has been heard on hundreds of national TV and Radio commercials.

Tommy Mitchell performs Wednesday and Thursdays in Polo, from 9:00 to closing.

‘Motown Friday Nights’ with Memory Lane

Friday nights have become Motown nights at The Colony. The hotel is now featuring the soul-stirring sounds of Memory Lane in Polo every Friday night from 9:30 p.m. to closing. It is music from the Temptations, the Supremes, Gladys Knight & the Pips, Smokey Robinson, Marvin Gaye - all the Motown favorites from the 60s to the 80s - and it is bringing the house down every week. People are dancing, singing, rocking away - right here in Palm Beach. In fact, The Colony is making a huge success with R&B, just as it has with the songs from the Great American Songbook in the Royal Room. The Colony really has become Music Central in Palm Beach as the hip and happy localites and socialites bebop the night away!

The Mel Urban Trio with Charmaine perform on Saturdays

Offering a bouncy, upbeat mixture of good times and great music, long-time Palm Beach favorites, the Mel Urban Trio with Charmaine, get people movin’ and groovin’ every Saturday night. Even more exciting, the big name stars appearing in the Royal Room and other local theaters will frequently stop by – all under the direction of The Colony’s master showman Rob Russell, the hotel’s charming entertainment director.
